At Semillitas Bilingues our Teachers experience includes Child Development Associate Teacher Certification, Child Development Credits and over 20 years of experience including in Preshool Center Facilities. All Teachers and Staff are current with their CPR, Pediatrics First Aid and up to date immunizations (including Covid-19).
Ana Morales
Hello everyone, my name is Ana Morales, and I am so excited to teach, learn and grow with your little semillitas! (seedlings). A little about me is that I love nature, specifically flowers and giant trees but all nature is beautiful and I just can't get enough. I am a big foodie person and love trying different types of food whenever I get the chance. I love spending time with my husband and 5-year-old son, whether it's at the beach or at the park having a picnic. As for career, I picked being a teacher. Whether it was teaching kindergarteners, preschoolers, or even infants. Being in the middle of children and being able to teach something while making it fun was always my goal. I am more than ready to be hands on with your little ones. There is so much to learn and I can't wait to get started. I can’t wait to meet you all, see you soon.
Mireya Martinez
Hi families of Semillitas Bilingües, my name is Mireya Martinez. I was born and raised in Mexico, but moved to Los Angeles, California soon after turning 18 years old. Here I started my family and now have two daughters, who are 21 and 16 years old. My first experience with early child care was at the Taylor Family Child Care, later renamed Friedman Family Child Care. There I worked full-time from 2003 to 2018 as a teacher assistant for children ages 2 to 4 years old. Those attending came from Jewish families, thus our activities were based around their religion. However, it still involved reading, music and dance, arts and crafts, as well as lots of outdoor activities. From 2018 to 2020, I worked directly for the Friedman family, as I cared for two of their children. Overall, I enjoy working in early child care as I’ve always wanted to care and help children learn. It’s definitely a huge learning experience as no one child is the same, but at the end it’s very rewarding to be able to influence their lives and help them learn.
Leticia Castellanos
Hola Papas, My name is Leticia, I have a son with whom I have an excellent and healthy relationship with. I like to go for walks, read and sharpen my skills on the computer; I find it very useful. I Studied Child Care at the Educational Center in Los Angeles, CA. There I was learning and putting the skills I learned to practice. I was in a daycare where I had enjoyable experiences with the children, and I enjoyed working with them; they are adorable. I also like to participate in the summer school program at the Church where I attend , every year there is an event where we take care of the children and teach them ; it is very gratifying. I also help in the nursery when they need me. 'being able to care for them is a blessing. I look forward to growing with Semillitas Bilingues Team, I have enjoyed getting to know SB2's little ones. They continue to amaze me on how much they know. They love their school and I look forward to growing with your little ones.

Hello, may name is Sandra Salmeron. I have 6 years of experience working at a Preschool/Daycare. I really enjoy going to work and most especially seeing the children, they make my day. I love cooking their meals, and working with them. On my free time I love to the movies and enjoy drinking cold and/or hot coffee.
Lorena Diaz
Hello, My name is Lorena Díaz I'am originally from El Salvador Central America. I am married and a mother of two children, David, 24, and Diana, 19. From a young age I was surrounded by children, since then I developed a love for them and when I had my children that love grew. We attended many programs, including "Mommy and Me", where I learned to understand them as small human beings who, just like an adult, have their moments of stress. I worked at Lin Howe Elementary School in Culver City where my daughter was studying. Here I met Zivia (Program Director) who was starting Semillitas Bilingues. She then incorporated me into her team and we started a new adventure with our Semillitas. It is very nice to be part of the development of children to see how they learn new things every day. In the mornings they always arrive happy and content with new expectations. What will we do today? What is the activity? What will we play now? Will we play with water, with sand, with dirt, or in the garden? Every day is a new adventure and the teachers enjoy it beside them. It is a pleasure to be part of this community and it is amazing to see our little Semillitas bloom into beautiful human beings.
