Semillitas Bilingues is a Spanish Immersion program, meaning the teaching and interaction is conducted entirely in Spanish. This provides an environment where young children acquire the language very quickly. The fastest and most effective way to achieve fluency in a language is through immersion, which provides students full Spanish language instruction. As you may already know, languages are most easily learned during the early years as a child’s brain is developing and can readily absorb a second language. Our children are learning Spanish through an immersion model approach. The research is clear: early exposure to a foreign language provides numerous lifelong benefits including stronger cognitive skills; higher standardized test scores; appreciation and tolerance for other cultures; keen creativity;and greater career opportunities.
